Will I be charged if my sale falls through?
No professional fee. If you don’t complete the sale, you would only cover any outlays we have already paid on your behalf.
Can I withdraw from the sale?
Yes. If you can’t sell or choose not to, you can withdraw — you’ll only be charged for outlays already paid, never a professional fee.
When do I hand over the keys?
You hand the keys to the auctioneer before we can close the sale. The buyer collects them once the transaction has completed.
What happens on closing day?
Funds are transferred to your solicitor and searches are completed. Once everything is confirmed — searches clear, funds received, and the buyer’s final inspection done — the sale closes.
What do I need to get started?
Photo ID and proof of address for anti-money-laundering (AML) checks, plus your title details. Your case manager sends a welcome pack listing everything needed.

Zero delays with doing up all the necessary paperwork and getting it across to the vendor's solicitor. Patrick was always a phone call away. If he couldn't answer, he always called back shortly afterwards. I chose Jacobs Law based on positive reviews and the ease of being able to upload documents to their online platform. Also, the ability to digitally sign documents as I am currently living abroud. Not to mention you know exactly what you are paying for as everything is disclosed upfront and in detail so there was no surprises when it came to payment.
